An impressive, informative resume is the gateway to getting your dream job.

Check the Internet, or your local library, for references on how to write the perfect resume. Your resume is the first introduction a potential employer receives about yourself. It should be strong and representative of your employment skills.

Your resume must accurately represent your skills and work experience. Also, if possible, try to keep your resume to one or two pages. This will give the potential employer a snapshot of your work skills and employment background. Among the items your resume should include are your:
• Name, address, telephone numbers, fax number and email address
• Previous work experience
• Educational background and degrees
• Awards and honors
You also might want to include any special skills or knowledge that you have that would be useful to your prospective employer. Mention that personal or business references will be supplied upon request. Also, be sure to check with your personal and business references if it is all right to use them as a reference. I lost a very lucrative job by not checking with one business reference that had given me a bad reference. I should have checked with them first. Do not lie or exaggerate anything on your resume. If you are hired, you will have to live up to how you represented yourself on your resume. The truth will be found out or a lie will be discovered, which will probably lose you the job.
I am presenting two excellent resumes that have always worked for me in getting an interview. The rest is up to you!
