When making a reservation, use only one name. Otherwise, this could confuse the host/hostess upon your arrival and possibly cost you a delay in being seated. Advise how many will be in your party and the time you of your arrival.
Should you have any questions regarding attire or payment, such as which credit cards are accepted, be sure to ask them when making the reservation. Also mention if you have any preference as to seating arrangements, such smoking or non-smoking, booth or table, whether or not you wish to be seated by a window, or if you will need any highchairs.
Should you need to cancel or delay your reservation, always call the restaurant as soon as possible. It is always nice if you check your coat and other accessories (such as umbrella or hat) at the coatroom, if there is one. Women, keep your purses on your lap or safely secured between your feet on the floor. We don’t want to give anyone a chance to steal your purse should you just sling it over the back of your chair.
